IPHC meets Jan. 28-Feb. 1

Preparations are ongoing for the 95th session of the International Pacific Halibut Commission, to be held Jan. 28 through Feb. 1 at the Fairmont Empress hotel in Victoria, British Columbia.

The deadline for all documents, including working papers, agency reports and regulatory proposals, is Dec. 29.

The meeting is open to the public and registration for those planning to be there in person, or online for the webinar can be done at the above website. All open sessions are to be webcast, with webcast sessions taking audience comment and questions as directed by the chairman, Paul Ryall of Canada. Assistant chair Chris Oliver is the assistant administrator for NOAA Fisheries, and former executive director of the North Pacific Fishery Management Council.
