As active readers, we all know how riveting books are and that the stories they tell can be award winning, but it seems Hollywood producers, directors, and actors are also becoming obsessed with books, discovering what we already know!

In 2019, you can see some books come to life with Greta Gerwig’s Little Women, starring Emma Watson and Saoirse Ronan, to the wartime adventure of Catch-22 with George Clooney and Hugh Laurie.

Some of the upcoming movies might catch your attention. Here’s just a few for you to ponder.

But the nearby woods hide a blood-chilling secret, more terrifying that death itself. The movie stars Jason Clarke, John Lithgow, and Amy Seimetz.  Anticipated release date is April 5th, 2019.

First step?  Kidnapping a fairy!  The movie stars Ferdia Shaw, Judi Dench, and Josh Gad.   Anticipated release date is August 9th, 2019.

Little Women based on the book by Louisa May Alcott. Not the first time, this novel has been shared on the big screen; in this new adaptation of the beloved classic, the March sisters come of age, enduring hardships and enjoying adventures in Civil War New England.
