Bruce and Shirley Cain and their youngest son Isaac arrived in town this past weekend from Valdez aboard the Aurora for the Ice Worm Festival, where the Cains bid on and won the chocolate Ice worm made from truffles by Pete’s Treats. Bruce was the executive director of the Native Village of Eyak from 2000 to 2010 and has been working for Ahtna Inc. in Glennallen since that time. He said the festival was one of the best he has seen and the truffle ice worm that Pete’s Treats came up with is an outstanding and delicious idea.
