Museum Memories

The booming metropolis of Cordova at the turn of the century, complete with an unpaved First Street and wooden boardwalk through town. Not many of the structures visible in this photo remain standing today due to fires that struck Main Street and general deterioration. Two of these buildings still stand – the former ‘Ambrosia Restaurant’ and the former ‘Janson Apartment Building.’
