Law & Order: Feb. 22-28

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 2-22-19 thru 2-28-19. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.                 

FEBRUARY 22, Friday:

Nothing to report.

FEBRUARY 23, Saturday:

8:36 p.m. Caller reported he struck a moose with his vehicle at 7 mile. Officer and forest service responded and dispatched moose. 11:30 p.m. Two ambulances were requested for medical transports. The ambulances responded and transported patients to the airport.

FEBRUARY 24, Sunday:

Nothing to report.

FEBRUARY 25, Monday:

10:28 a.m. Caller reported a disturbance. Officer is investigating situation. 10:48 a.m. Caller requested an ambulance for an unconscious male. Officer and ambulance responded and provided aid.

FEBRUARY 26, Tuesday:

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
