Bristol Bay Native Corp. has announced its acquisition of Panhandle Power Solutions, LLC, a construction management and services firm based in Destin, Fla., that specializes in electrical services, airfield lighting and general construction.
Panhandle will join the SpecPro Environmental Services group of companies under BBNC’s construction business line, BBNC said. The firm’s key capabilities include project procurement, estimating, management, administration and construction services.
According to Basil Skelton, president and chief executive officer of SES, these skills, in particular their high to low energy self-performance electrical experience, complements the work that BBNC is already doing in this area.
The acquisition was completed at the end of March.
BBNC is the regional Alaska Native regional corporation established under the 1971 Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act representing the Bristol Bay region of Southwest Alaska.
