Law & Order: March 15-21

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 3-15-19 thru 3-28-19. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

MARCH 15, Friday:

Nothing to report.

MARCH 16, Saturday:

Nothing to report.

MARCH 17, Sunday:

5:14 p.m. Caller reported her neighbor had fallen and could not get up. The ambulance responded and transported the individual to the hospital.

MARCH 18, Monday:

5:06 a.m. Caller reported a rock had fallen onto the highway at 6 Mile. Department of Transportation was notified and removed the rock. 5:07 p.m. Caller reported a tree had fallen and was blocking one lane of Railroad Ave. The city shop responded and removed the tree.

MARCH 19, Tuesday:

11:01a.m. Caller reported that they were being stalked by someone. An officer is currently investigating the situation. 9:02 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a customer who felt dizzy. An officer and an ambulance responded and transported the individual to the hospital.

MARCH 20, Wednesday:

12:49 p.m. Caller reported they were being stalked by someone. An officer spoke with both parties involved in the situation.

MARCH 21, Thursday:

1:09 a.m. Caller requested a welfare check on a friend. Officer responded and spoke with individual who was fine.

MARCH 22-28:

Nothing to report.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
