Cordova’s annual art exhibition, The Painted Bird, celebrates the Copper River Delta Shorebird Festival and migratory bird fly-way though art.

Artwork for the exhibition is open to bird-related art in any medium by Alaskan artists over 18 years of age with a limit of two entries per artist.

Mailed entries must be under 20 pounds and under 30 inches. All works must have been executed in the last five years and must be framed and ready to display.

Entries must be at the Cordova Museum, located in the Cordova Center, by April 27.

All accepted works must be for sale.

Presented by the Cordova Historical Museum and Copper River Galley, the show “Look, a Bird!” will run from May 2-31.
