Walker joins Anchorage law firm

Former Gov. Bill Walker has joined the Anchorage law firm now to be known as Brena, Bell & Walker, where he will continue his work offering municipal, resource and economic development assistance to clients.

With state Attorney General designee Kevin Clarkson leaving the firm and Walker joining, the decision was made to change the firm’s name from Brena, Bell & Clarkson.

A lifelong Alaskan, Walker earned a business degree from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore., and a law degree from Seattle University School of Law. Walker and his wife Donna reside in Anchorage. They have four children and five grandchildren.
