Delta Western has new operator in Southwest Alaska

Bristol Bay Industrial subsidiary Bristol Alliance Fuels has reached an agreement with Delta Western to operate its facilities in Dillingham and Naknek, the companies said in a joint announcement on April 17.

Under the agreement BAF will lease and operate Delta Western’s fuel terminals in both communities, retaining as many current staff as possible, while providing fuel delivery service.

Bob Cox, president and chief executive officer of BAF, called it a win-win situation for residents of the two communities and both companies.

“We believe this partnership will continue to provide the communities we serve with quality fuel supplied by Delta Western, but also Support the growth and development of Bristol Alliance Fuels and their mission to better their communities,” said Delta Western President Shannon Price.

Customers and vendors were notified on April 15. Delta Western will become BAF’s exclusive provider of fuel-based petroleum products.

Bristol Bay Industrial is a Bristol Bay Native Corp. holding company which operates and manages several member companies that provide oilfield and industrial services throughout Alaska and the Lower 48.
