Earth Day in Cordova

In celebration of Earth Day/Arbor Day, a community bonfire and spring cleanup took place at the newly remodeled One-Eyed Pond Recreation Site at mile 18.2 of the Copper River Highway on Friday, April 26, 2019. Twenty-four people were in attendance and shared bratwursts, quinoa veggies and corn on the cob roasting over the fire while dogs played in the pond and moose were seen on the drive over.
