Kellie Fisher and Hiram Arnaud, both of Forest Hills, N.Y., announce their engagement.
Kellie is the daughter of Bill and Michele Fisher of Cordova. She is a 2010 graduate of Cordova High School and a 2014 graduate of Adrian College in Adrian, MI. She is a finance manager at Sir Kensington’s in NYC.
Hiram is the son of Antonio and Sonia Arnaud of Bogota, New Jersey. He is a 2010 graduate of Fordham University and a 2013 graduate of Cornell Law School. He is currently a practicing attorney in New York City.
The couple plans an October wedding in New Jersey.
NOTE: In the background is a statue of Balto, who led the last of 20 sled dog teams relaying medicine through blinding snow and temperatures reaching 40-below-zero to deliver medicine to Nome during the deadly January 1925 diphtheria epidemic. The bronze statue in tribute to Balto was installed in the park later that year.
