Law & Order: Sept. 6-12

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 9-5-19 thru 9-12-19. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

SEPTEMBER 6, Friday:

12:50 a.m. Caller reported a fight happening on the breakwater. Officer responded and were unable to locate anyone in the area.

SEPTEMBER 7, Saturday:

Nothing to report.

SEPTEMBER 8, Sunday:

Nothing to report.

SEPTEMBER 9, Monday:

10:12 a.m. Caller requested a welfare check on an individual. Officer responded finding everything to be OK.  

SEPTEMBER 10, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

SEPTEMBER 11, Wednesday:

1:38 a.m. Caller reported a customer would not leave the establishment when asked. Officer responded and the customer left when he arrived. 6:20 p.m. Caller reported a theft had occurred. Officer responded investigating the situation. 7:57 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance for a man with food poisoning and is weak. Ambulance responded transporting the patient to CCMC.

SEPTEMBER 12, Thursday:

Nothing to report.

DMV HOURS:

From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. The DMV is located at 602 Railroad Ave. Payments are now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
