Gov. Mike Dunleavy on Oct. 1 named Amanda Holland to be acting director of the state’s Office of Management and Budget, to temporarily fill the post formerly held by Donna Arduin.
Holland is the current OMB management director.
The governor said Holland would help lead in development and roll-up of the fiscal year 2021 budget, which by state statute is to be submitted to the Legislature on Dec. 15.
The Dunleavy administration announced on Sept. 16 that Arduin had transitioned from director of OMB to advisor to assist in development and implementation of performance-based budgeting processes and program prioritization methods for departments.
Arduin’s employment with the state was to expire on Oct. 1, then was temporarily extended for two weeks while contract terms to serve as an advisor to the administration are worked out.
