Matt Shuckerow, who has served all three members of Alaska’s congressional delegation in media communications, now has a new role as re-election campaign manager for Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska.

Shuckerow made the announcement himself on Oct. 14, saying it was his last day as press secretary to Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy, and that he was “extremely excited for this opportunity” to lead Sullivan’s campaign.

After graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2010, Shuckerow joined the staff of Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska as college intern program coordinator, supervising 20 summer interns. He went on to serve as legislative correspondent and then press secretary for Murkowski, and then communications director for Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska.

In November 2017 he joined Sullivan’s staff as deputy communications director, a post he served in until becoming press secretary for Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy in January.
