Stage of the Tide presented “Mamma Mia!” to packed houses. “Mamma Mia!” is a compendium of hit songs from the Swedish Disco group ABBA strung together with a loose story line.  Over forty Cordovans from age 4 to 64 made this show possible.

At Cathy Sherman’s retirement party this summer Anita Smyke proposed that Stage of the Tide tackle “Mamma Mia!”. Her daughter Ria would be a high school senior and would love to be a part of it. Who was I to say no? We shook hands and made it all the way to the success of the performances.

We dedicated our work to those troupers who were meant to be a part of the show, Aaron Parker, Shawn Stimson and Neil Durco, before fate intervened.
