GAPP seeks more partners to market Pollock

Marketing advocates for wild Alaska Pollock are seeking proposals through March 15 for participation in their effort to build awareness and demand for the nutritious whitefish in European markets.

The Association of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers, in Seattle, is welcoming proposals for its North American Partnership Program from any organization in any country who want to re-introduce wild Alaska Pollock to the European marketplace, with a particular focus on bringing this fish to new channels, new formats and new influencers and/or recipes.

Craig Morris, chief executive officer of GAPP, said they know there are companies out there who want to use wild Alaska Pollock and GAPP wants to partner with them.

All product formats will be considered, including fillets, surimi, roe, fishmeal or oil.

Further information for interested applicants is on the CAPP website at alaskapollock.org/about-us/programs.
