The winners and runners-up in both the girls and boys playoffs advance to the State 2A Tournament in Anchorage on March 19-21.

Called March Madness, Alaska Style, the ASAA playoff is the highlight of the Alaska high school basketball season.

Since the implementation of the statewide playoff system in 1983, the Cordova boys have never won a state title at either the 3A or 2A level.  The Cordova Lady Wolverines captured the 3A title in 1987.
