Law & Order: Feb. 28-March 5

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between Feb. 28-March 5. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, Feb. 28
Caller requested an ambulance. The ambulance responded and transported the patient to the hospital.

Wednesday, March 4
6:26 a.m. Caller reported a vehicle had been involved in an accident with a building. An officer responded and investigated the incident. 11:48 a.m. Caller requested an officer to respond to their business and remove an individual who was causing a disturbance. An officer responded and trespassed the individual from the business.

Thursday, March 5
12:14 a.m. Dispatch received a call reporting that a vehicle may be stuck in the snow at 10-mile Copper River Highway. 2 Officers responded and assisted DOT in getting the vehicle free from the snow. 2:14 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance to assist them. An ambulance responded to the residence and rendered aid. 7:57 p.m. Caller reported a disturbance outside an apartment building. An officer responded and spoke with the parties involved.

Tuesday–Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted. DMV is located at 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
