CORDOVID Tournament
If you have a Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8, a new daily Mario Kart activity allows you to socialize from your couch. Saturday Market
The next Cordova Saturday Market was scheduled for 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 21. Adjustments are being made to ensure the market complies with the most up to date health and safety recommendations. Net Loft Virtual Handcrafting
The Net Loft is hosting a virtual handcraft gathering at their usual in-person meeting time of noon on Wednesday. ‘Water Dances’, postponed
Current Rhythms’ original spring dance performance “Water Dances” set for Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28 at the Cordova Center’s North Star Theatre, featuring local dancers ages 3 to adult, is postponed until further notice.

Wild Food Feast and Film Festivals, postponed

All Bidarki and Swimming Pool access is closed until March 30

Morning Music

Moms, Pops & Tots, postponed
A play group for children, infants to age 4, is 10 a.m. to noon Mondays at the Masonic Lodge throughout the school year is postponed until further notice. When it resumes, the group is free to attend. For more information contact NVE Tribal Family Services director Katie Goodale at 907-424-7738.

Tuesdays

Gospel sing-along, postponed
St. George’s Episcopal Church is postponing sing-alongs on Tuesdays from 4-5 p.m. at the Cordova Community Medical Center at this time. Arrangements are being made to possibly resume the activity digitally via Zoom. For more information contact Belle at 907-424-5143.

Ilanka community wellness and recovery support circle, postponed
A wellness and recovery support circle that meets Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. at the Ilanka Wellness Center will suspend meetings until further notice. For more information, call John at 907-424-3622.

Tuesday Night Talks, canceled
The Prince William Sound Science Center’s weekly science lectures are canceled for the remainder of the season and are set to resume in September. Watch past lectures online at pwssc.org/education/Tuesday-night-talks.

Regular City Council Meetings
Regular meetings are scheduled at 7 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month at the Cordova Center Community Rooms A & B. The agenda is established on the Friday prior to each meeting date and posted at the post office, library, city hall lobby, the Cordova Center entrance bulletin board and on the city website at cityofcordova.net. Celebrate Recovery
The Christian program that was held each Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene is no longer meeting.

Skeet and trap

Patch the Pirate Kids Club
Patch the Pirate Kids Club will be held 3-5 p.m. Fridays at the MorningStar Independent Baptist Church, at 711 1st street the old troopers building, for children grades first through sixth.

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
The church will remain open for personal prayer only. All other regular scheduled events and gatherings are canceled until further notice. Visitors are asked to use the provided hand sanitizer when entering the building. MorningStar Independent Baptist Church
Regular weekly services will continue as follows: Sunday school at 9:45 a.m., regular Sunday morning service at 11 a.m., Sunday evening service at 6 p.m. and Wednesday evening service 7 p.m. For the most up-to-date information, contact Pastor Leslie Bourdess at 907-424-3501.

St. George’s Episcopal Church
Is planning to continue regular church services Sundays at 10:30 a.m., with the adjustment of having them outdoors around the campfire between the Red Dragon and the church. Nazarene Church
The regular weekly 11 a.m. Sunday service will continue at this time, limited to the first 50 people to attend. Participants are asked to stay home if they or anyone in their household is sick, elderly or have any health concerns. All other Nazarene Church activities are postponed until further notice. Little Chapel
Church services will continue as normal, until further notice. Young at Hearts, Senior Ministries is postponed at this time and food gatherings and potlucks are canceled.
