Easter Egg WALK ABOUT
In lieu of this year’s Community Easter Egg Hunt, there will be a Cordova Community Easter Egg WALK ABOUT where members of the same household can get out for some fresh air and look for eggs. The event begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. Eggs will be hidden around town, in plain sight and away from public entrances. If you find an egg with a number on it, post a photo of you and your egg on the Community Easter Egg Hunt Facebook page to win an Easter Basket. Take proper precautions and participating responsibly. **Review and understand all current COVID-19 mandates prior to heading out: cityofcordova.net/residents/a-safe-cordova/cordova-prepared.

2020 PDF deadline — extended
The deadline for filing for the 2020 Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend has been extended to April 30. Mailed in 2020 PFD applications must be postmarked by April 30 in order to be considered timely. Visit pfd.alaska.gov for more information and to file online.

Ongoing

Children’s Bible story
The Little Chapel will post a new children’s Bible story each weekday at 1 p.m. on their Facebook page. The idea is to give kids a fun 10 to 15-minute break in the middle of the day to add some to their changing schedules. The videos will stay on the church page in case you weren’t able to tune in at 1 p.m.

CORDOVID tournament
If you have a Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8, a new daily Mario Kart activity allows you to socialize from your couch. Join the CORDOVID tournament, starting at 6:30 p.m. each day (at least while school is out). Learn how to join the tournament by visiting cdv.to/867a5 online. Tournament code: 1982-0695-3003. Don’t forget to join the voice chat during the race.

Morning Music
Due to schools being closed to student access at this time, Belle Mickelson and Kim Menster are coordinating to make sheet music and instruments available to students. For more information, contact Belle at 907-424-5143.
