Law & Order: March 27-April 2

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between March 27-April 2. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, March 27
March 19, 2020, indictment and arrest warrant were issued for David Brocious. Officers located and arrested David Brocious, age 55 of Cordova, for two counts of Sexual Assault in the First Degree and one count Sexual Assault in the Second Degree with bail set at $50,000 and third-party custodian. 11:40 p.m. Caller requested an ambulance. An ambulance responded and assisted the patient.

Saturday, March 28
8:04 p.m. Caller reported an unleashed dog attacked her own dog and knocked her over. An officer responded and issued a citation to the unleashed dog’s owner.

Wednesday, April 1
2:36 p.m. Caller reported a possible case of harassment. An officer is currently investigating this incident. 8:30 p.m. Caller requested a welfare check. An officer responded and assisted the individual.

Thursday, April 2
Nothing to report.

Tuesday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted. DMV is located at 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
