Law & Order: April 3-9

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between April 3-9. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, April 3
2:55 a.m. Caller reported that they had been assaulted. An officer is investigating this report.

Saturday, April 4
3:44 p.m. Caller requested to have somebody trespassed from their property. An officer spoke with all parties and the individual left without incident. 7:41 p.m. Caller reported somebody was trespassing in the basement of their property. Responded and arrested Daniel Jeppson, age 36, of Cordova, by summons for Criminal Trespass.

Sunday, April 5
3:17 p.m. Individual reported fireworks were being used within city limits.

Monday, April 6
Nothing to report.

Tuesday, April 7
1:23 a.m. Individual came to the station to turn in a debit card found at Nirvana Park.

Thursday, April 9
Nothing to report.

Tuesday-Thursday from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted. DMV is located at 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
