Estate planning session
The Cordova Community Foundation is sponsoring a free estate planning session by attorney Molly Mulvaney from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, May 27 via Zoom. It will include a basic overview of health directives, powers of attorney, and simple wills. Email Julie Reynolds jreynolds@alaskacf.org for more info.

Curbside book delivery
The Cordova Library offers curbside delivery from 8-10:30 a.m. and 4-6:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday outside the library by the drop box near the rear door. Go to cordovalibrary.org to find their catalog and email your book requests to curbsidedelivery@cordovalibrary.org or call 907-424-6667 and leave a voice message. Staff will bag your items and give you a call to schedule a pickup time. Items can be returned in the drop box.

Free online books
The Cordova Library has a huge variety of books and audio books available in digital format through the Alaska Digital Library which can be accessed on any electronic device. Borrow, read & return books in digital format for free. Go to adl.overdrive.com and click “Sign in”. Select Cordova Public Library from drop-down list and enter your library card number. Pajama read along
The Cordova Public Library is hosting a digital “read along” with Anna Hernandez on an Instagram live feed starting at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays each week. Content is geared towards ages 10 and up. Follow and read along @cordovapubliclibraryreads. Participants must have an Instagram account. Email anna@cordovalibrary.org for more information.

Community COVID-19 update schedule
For the next few weeks, the City of Cordova COVID-19 Public Information Team will be hosting a new live streamed Community Update at 4 p.m. every Tuesday in addition to its Weekly Press Briefing at 4 p.m. on Fridays. The broadcast featuring reports and guest commentary from community and business partners, industry and medical professionals and response collaborators will be streamed live to the City’s YouTube channel and will be shared on Facebook via Facebook.com/groups/CordovaPrepared.

Children’s Bible story
The Little Chapel will post a new 10 to 15-minute children’s Bible story each weekday at 1 p.m. on their Facebook page. The videos will stay on their page if you weren’t able to tune in live.

If you have a Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8, a daily Mario Kart activity allows you to socialize remotely. Net Loft virtual handcrafting
The Net Loft is hosting a virtual handcraft gathering at their usual in-person meeting time of noon on Wednesday. Regular meetings are scheduled at 7 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month.
