Cordova reports 13th virus case

Cordova reported its 13th case of the novel coronavirus Friday, July 31. The city’s medical response team is working to determine whether this case of the virus was acquired during travel or through community contact. The state has been notified of the case, and the city’s medical team is working to identify people who may have had contact with the newly identified coronavirus-positive individual, according to a release by the city.

As of Wednesday, July 29, 10 of the community’s previously identified cases have recovered, according to data published by the city. The city’s online coronavirus dashboard will be updated to reflect the new case, officials said.
