Schutt named to Alaska Permanent Fund board

Ethan Schutt, chief executive officer of the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, was named by Gov. Mike Dunleavy on Wednesday, Aug. 12, to the board of the Alaska Permanent Fund.

Schutt, a life-long Alaskan and Stanford educated attorney, previously served as senior vice president of land and energy for Cook Inlet Region, an Alaska Native regional corporation based in Anchorage.

Before his work with CIRI he served as general counsel for the Tanana Chiefs Conference in Fairbanks and also on the board of Doyon, Limited, an Alaska Native regional corporation based in Fairbanks.

Schutt fills the post formerly held by Marty Rutherford, whose four-year term on the board ended earlier this year.
