Trident Seafoods is looking to hire 250 people to work at their seafood processing facility in Akutan, in the Aleutians East Borough, from Oct. 10 through Jan. 15, through the Anchorage Job Center of the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Trident officials said job duties would include cutting, trimming, washing, sizing, grading and loading seafood.
The work will pay $12.36 an hour and $18.54 an hour overtime.
Trident Seafoods will provide room and board, all tools, supplies and gear, plus reimbursement for transportation for those who complete their contract.
