Alaska Marine Highway System officials have released the 2020-21 winter schedule, covering ferry travel from October 2020 through April 2021.
With AMHS revenues significantly lower than expected due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, state transportation officials have produced a schedule with reduced service to most communities. Some service gaps will still exist from vessel overhauls and layups as a result of available funding, AMHS officials said.
