Pacific Marine Expo will be a digital experience

Pacific Marine Expo, a major commercial marine event held annually in Seattle, is going digital only in 2020 due to health and safety issues presented by the worldwide novel coronavirus pandemic, organizer Diversified Communications announced Monday, Aug. 31.

There are still far too many uncertainties about the impact of COVID-19 on travel and mass gatherings this December, Diversified Communications officials said. Given those issues it would be impossible to hold a live event that would provide an experience that our Expo community would find valuable in Seattle, they said.

The 2020 online event, hosted on nationalfishermen.com, will feature three days of free, streaming educational content and special events, discussions and a comprehensive supplier guide in lieu of an exhibit floor.

Further details regarding Pacific Marine Expo 2021 will be made available in coming weeks. Meanwhile questions regarding the event may be sent to info@pacificmarineexpo.com.
