A call for proposals seeking changes in finfish regulations during the 2021/22 meeting cycle of the Alaska Board of Fisheries is out, with a submission deadline of April 9.
The board is accepting proposals for changes in subsistence, personal use, sport, guided sport and commercial fishing regulations for finfish in the Bristol Bay, Arctic, Kuskokwim, Yuko, Alaska Peninsula, Chignik, Aleutian Islands and Bering Sea regions, as well as statewide general provisions for finfish.
Subsistence related proposals from other regions if they meet criteria identified in Alaska state statute 5 AAC 96.916(a), board officials said.
The Board of Fisheries proposal form, including the online proposal form is at adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=fisheriesboard.forms, or from any boards support office.
The completed proposal form must contain a contact phone number and address. Email addresses are appreciated.
The name of the individual or organization submitting the proposal should be printed or typed.

Responsive proposals received by the deadline will be considered by the Board of Fisheries during its October 2021 through March 2022 meeting schedule.
