U.S. Forest Service officials are accepting proposals through Monday, Jan. 11 for guided helicopter skiing tours to help build a robust program, for visitor experiences in the Chugach National Forest Cordova Ranger District.
The goal is to select businesses best qualified to provide visitors with a safe, satisfying recreational experience that promotes enjoyment, understanding and appreciation of the Chugach National Forest.

The process is expected to be completed in time for operations to begin in December 2021. Use of the project area may be shared with multiple entities and exclusive use of the project area should not be expected, USDA officials said.
