Alena Craig, a 2020 graduate of Cordova Jr./Sr. High School, has been named to the Muhlenberg College Dean’s List for the fall semester.

Muhlenberg College is a four-year residential liberal arts college located in Allentown, Pa., approximately 90 miles west of New York City. The college is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Membership on the Dean’s List requires a student of Muhlenberg College or Muhlenberg College School of Continuing Studies to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

In 2020, Craig was awarded a scholarship by Cordova Arts and Pageants for assembling a portfolio including original designs for dresses and costumes, and material from classes she had taught at the Net Loft crafts store. Costumes designed and constructed by Craig have been used in theatrical productions by Cordova Arts and Pageants and by the school district. As a CHS student, Craig competed at the Aurora Music Festival part of the school choir. Additionally, she was a candidate for Miss Iceworm in 2019.
