Seafood industry veteran Kevin Larsen will join Peter Pan Seafood Co. LLC in April as vice president of international sales and business development.
In addition to much experience in domestic sourcing and sales, Larsen has extensive international sales experience, particularly in Europe, from his experience at Icicle Seafoods,
Peter Pan officials said.
He also has experience in fish trading, which will complement the expansion of Peter Pan’s trading business, company officials said.
Larsen hails from a seafood family in Southeast Alaska. He spent eight seasons harvesting
fish in Southeast Alaska before joining the sales side of the industry and since then had worked up and down the state’s west coast in sales, most recently at Bornstein Seafoods Inc.
Peter Pan came under new ownership in January, bringing the company back to U.S. and Alaska ownership. The company also has become a vertically integrated seafood firm with a focus on value-added sales channels combined with the legacy of a storied seafood processor in Alaska.
