Board of Fisheries meets Oct. 20-21 in Anchorage

The agenda for the Alaska Board of Fisheries work session at the Egan Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage Oct. 20-21 may include topics ranging from the election of officers and agenda change requests to petitions, but no regulatory action will be taken.

Along with these items, plus creation of informational and board generated proposals, the board will review the approved 2022/2023 call for proposals and/or administrative issues that may come before the board.

The two-day meeting is open to the public, although given continued review of health conditions related to the COVID-19 pandemic registration is required. The primary purpose for registration is to gather contact information of attendees to communicate expectations at the meeting and assist contact tracing in the event of an outbreak.
