Mt. Eccles students ring in the holidays

Over 100 Mt. Eccles Elementary School students, kindergarten through fourth grade, dressed as insects and other critters performed a winter concert “A Bugz Christmas, a Holiday Musical Infestation!” on Monday, Dec. 13, at Cordova High School gymnasium.

The performance was orchestrated by music director Chelsea Corrao. Corrao has been with the school district since 2015, this year’s performance is a revival of the 2015 holiday show.

The performance, originally scheduled for Dec. 9, was postponed due to whiteout snow conditions.

Despite the schedule change, the bleachers of the gym were filled and the show was livestreamed. The livestream can be watched on YouTube at tinyurl.com/bugzchristmas.
