Birth: Sean Richard Silveira

Sean Richard Silveira

Robert Silveira of Cordova and Brittany Vanderwerf of Buffalo, New York announce the birth of their son Sean Richard Silveira. Sean arrived at 3:42 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau. He was delivered by his father Robert with Dr. Newbury standing by, weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and measuring 21 inches in length. (Robert’s best catch to this day!)

His parents would like to add, “Sean was born on the sunny side of winter solstice, our shining light, our boy Sean. With family from Alaska to New York, he was welcomed with open arms by all, giving us the most spectacular Christmas present. He’s not only the greatest ending to our year, but the best start to a new year, and all to come. Named after our dear friend Sean Johnson whose legacy lives on from generation to generation, we’re happy to share with Cordova another youth to grow amongst the community. Thank you all for the well wishes.”
