Cordova PTA is showing the documentary “Screenagers: Growing Up in The Digital Age” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Mt. Eccles Commons. “Screenagers” reveals how tech time impacts kids’ development and offers solutions on how adults can empower their kids to best navigate the digital world to find balance.
This year’s Iceworm Festival “Ahoy Iceworm”, will begin Saturday, Jan. 29, and end with an annual firework display 8 p.m. Feb. 5. Deadline to get your event on the schedule is Friday, Jan. 21. Round Up at the Register
For the month of January at AC Value Center, customers who round up their purchases will support the Cordova Volunteer Fire Department. The amount you give to the CVFD during Round up at the Register will be printed on your receipt as a donation. AC will match dollar for dollar up to $5,000 and 100% of the proceeds will help with the purchase of a water apparatus, flotation devices, dry suits, and other items to be used for emergency water rescues.
