  • 9:55 a.m. The Fire Department responded to a 911 report of a smoking dryer on Chase Avenue. The Fire Department cleared the scene at 10:28 a.m. Everything was “OK.”
  • 3:01 p.m. An officer conducted security surveillance for flight 66 at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 3:58 p.m. An officer served civil papers.
  • 5:50 p.m. An officer conducted traffic surveillance.
  • 7:14 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the United States Postal Service building.
  • 7:37 p.m. An officer issued a warning to a motorist on the Copper River Highway.
  • 7:40 p.m. An officer responded to a request for officer assistance at the Cordova Community Medical Center for a disorderly patient.

Tuesday, February 22:

  • 12:03 a.m. An officer conducted a security check at the Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 6:37 a.m. City Streets Department responded to a report of a GCI cable down on the corner of Chase and LeFevre Avenues. The responsible parties at GCI, CTC and CEC were notified.
  • 9:36 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.

Wednesday, February 23:

  • 8:44 a.m. A local business owner called to speak with an officer.
  • 9:13 a.m. An officer conducted security and traffic surveillance at the Mt. Eccles Elementary School.
  • 1:19 p.m. An officer conducted security surveillance for flight 61 at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 2:22 p.m. An officer conducted security surveillance for flight 66 at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 3:03 p.m. An officer was dispatched to a motorist assist call.
  • 3:55 p.m. Dispatch received a report of gasoline allegedly stolen from a vehicle at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport parking lot.
  • 7:19 p.m. An officer responded to a report of a parked vehicle idling in the United States Forest Service building parking lot since noon. The responsible party was contacted, and the vehicle was turned off.
  • 8:28 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.

Friday, February 25:

  • 8:28 a.m. An officer conducted security and traffic surveillance at the Mt. Eccles Elementary School.
  • 1:00 p.m. An officer conducted security surveillance for flight 61 at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 3:04 p.m. The Emergency Medical Services team responded to a call on Browning Street. The patient was transported to Cordova Community Medical Center.

Saturday, February 26:

  • 12:12 a.m. An officer conducted a security check at the Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 11:15 a.m. The Emergency Medical Services team responded to a medivac transport call. The patient was transported from Cordova Community Medical Center to the airport.
  • 2:40 p.m. An officer conducted security surveillance for flight 66 at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 7:46 p.m. Dispatch received a 911 medical call from South First Avenue. The caller then stated they would transport themselves to the Cordova Community Medical Center.
  • 10:31 p.m. Dispatch received a report of suspicious circumstances. 10:37 p.m. Dispatch received a follow-up call regarding suspicious circumstances. 

Sunday, February 27:

  • 10:39 a.m. A resident came to the police station to file a report.
  • 12:40 p.m. An officer conducted security surveillance for flight 61 at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 2:27 p.m. An officer conducted security surveillance for flight 66 at Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
  • 3:41 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the United States Postal Service building.
  • 5:04 p.m. Dispatch received a dog complaint.
  • 6:53 p.m. An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity around the vacant High School building on Browning Avenue.
  • 11:11 p.m. An officer conducted a security check at the Merle K. Mudhole Smith Airport.
