The Alaskan Bar is hosting an open mic night on Friday, May 20 for those 21 years of age and older. Sign up at 8:30 p.m. Music begins at 9 p.m.

The Cordova Jr. Sr. Highschool’s Class of 2022 graduation ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 at the CHS gymnasium.

The last day of school is Wednesday, May 25.

Beach Meet & Greet

Calling all direct marketers, oyster farmers, fishermen, kelp farmers, ocean-based businesses and ocean artists and makers, join the Cordova Chamber of Commerce from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 28 at Harney Bay beach fire pit. Bring something that showcases your work, whether it be your catch, artistry or other ocean-based work.

Used book sale

The Hospital Auxiliary used book sale is through May 9 in the basement of the hospital. There are lots of books as well as puzzles, videos and music that are looking for a new home.

Student Art Show

Cordova Museum’s Copper River Gallery presents a Student Art Show by Mt. Eccles Elementary School through April 30. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Call for musicians
