Stevens, Stutes offer straight talk on what Legislature did in Cordova

Sen. Gary Stevens and Speaker of the House Louise Stutes, both R-Kodiak, will offer insight into the recently concluded legislative session accomplished and what it means for Cordova, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 4, at the local Legislative Information Office.

The two veteran legislators will provide straight talk on the state budget and other legislative priorities important to every Alaska resident, and answer questions on a variety of topics ranging from the state budget to this year’s Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend.

Come and learn which agencies and programs got funded during this session and which ones did not, the details of how all this happened and how it will affect individual Alaskans.
