Around Town | Check out live art around town! Guest artists will be turning dumpsters and bear-proof garbage cans into beautiful works of art!

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Festival HQ open on First Street, in front of the Copper River Watershed Project office:  Get your event schedule, raffle tickets, tickets to the ski hill events, and check out the new festival merchandise.

THURSDAY JULY 14TH

Around Town | Check out live art around town! Guest artists will be turning dumpsters and bear-proof garbage cans into beautiful works of art!

9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Discovery Cordova: Tidepools, with Prince William Sound Science Center. Meet at Orca Beach, dressed for the weather. Rubber boots and rain pants recommended for full immersive exploration.

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Festival HQ open on First Street, in front of the Copper River Watershed Project office:  Get your festival schedule, raffle tickets, tickets to the ski hill events, and check out the new festival merchandise.

10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. | Thursday Night Teaser. A BONUS show by headliner Zen Trembles at the Reluctant Fisherman. One-hour teaser show, $10 cover charge OR purchase your Salmon Jam wristband and get this concert FREE. Wristbands will be available for purchase at the door.

FRIDAY JULY 15TH

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Festival HQ open on First Street, in front of the Copper River Watershed Project office:  Get your festival schedule, raffle tickets, tickets to the ski hill events, and check out the new festival merchandise.

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. | Artisan Market:  Get your face or hair sparkled, peruse local handi-crafts, and more!

6:00 p.m. |  Salmon Jam music festival opens: Get ready to dance! Must have a wristband to enter. Friday night kicks off with Kaloku Holt and the Ke Kukui Foundation dancers followed by Cordova’s own Repeat Offenders featuring Jason Pallas, Ben “BJ” Umayam, and Daniel Pigeon unleashing everything rock and roll! The Zen Trembles from Anchorage take the stage at 8pm. Don’t be late! 

8:00 p.m. | Zen Trembles rock the stage.

9:00 p.m. | Fire dancer Zachary Hun’s dangerously fascinating performance.

SATURDAY JULY 16TH

7:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. | Alaska Salmon Runs road races: King salmon marathon, Sockeye half marathon, Coho 10K, Humpy 5K, Smolt one-mile walk/fun run.

12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. |  Salmon Barbecue and Alaska Salmon Runs medal announcements at Hollis Henrichs park. Lunch is $15/adult, $8/child under 12. Bring a dish to share and get in free.

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Small Fry Activities: Join the Prince William Sound Science Center, Copper River Watershed Project, U.S. Forest Service and their partners in education at the festival grounds for fish printing, relays, casting practice, salmon fillet and preserving demonstrations and other exciting hands-on activities. Included in Saturday night festival admission. Fun for kids & families of all ages!

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. | Taste of Cordova: This seafood-themed potluck hosted by Noble Ocean Farms and the Native Conservancy will provide an opportunity for attendees to sample bite-sized portions of fresh-harvested dishes. Bring your own dish or just come to sample others. 

3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Artisan Market Open:  More chances to purchase locally-made art, snacks and handicrafts and support our local artists.

3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. | Salmon Jam Music Festival: Night 2 kicks off. Local and regional musicians start off a full night of live music! Must have a wristband to enter. Zen trembles rock the stage again at 7 p.m., and closing out this year’s music festival with a bang are the Repeat Offenders at 8 p.m.
