The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 11-21-22 thru 12-4-22. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
NOVEMBER 21, MONDAY:
- At 1:59 a.m. an officer performed a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 3:27 p.m. a 911 caller reported a person trespassing at a Lakeshore Drive residence. (Officers responded to the location and arrested Brandon Stanley.)
NOVEMBER 22, TUESDAY:
- At 2:20 a.m. an officer performed a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 7:28 a.m. a 911 caller requested an officer for a civil standby. (An officer arrived at the requested location and performed a civil standby.)
- At 4:09 p.m. a 911 caller reported a vehicle accident on first street. (An officer responded.)
NOVEMBER 23, WEDNESDAY:
- At 2:59 a.m. an officer performed a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 8:12 a.m. a 911 caller requested an ambulance at a spruce grove residence. (Medic first responders located the individual and transported them to the hospital.)
- At 1:40 p.m. a caller reported a propane leak. (Fire first responders located the leak and stopped it.)
- At 10:36 p.m. an officer performed a security check at a new England cannery road science center.
- At 10:42 p.m. an officer performed a security check at the ferry terminal.
- At 10:48 p.m. an officer performed a security check at a first street business.
- At 11:24 p.m. an officer performed a security check at the 13-mile airport.
NOVEMBER 24, THURSDAY:
- At 7:02 a.m. officers performed a court action on Fourth Street.
- At 8:24 p.m. an officer performed a security check at a First Street business.
- At 9:23 p.m. a caller reported a dead animal on Adams Street. (An officer responded to the location and cleared the street.)
- At 10:40 p.m. an officer performed a security check at the 13-mile airport.
NOVEMBER 25, FRIDAY:
- At 11:48 p.m. an officer performed a security check at a First Street business.
NOVEMBER 26, SATURDAY:
- At 1:06 a.m. an officer performed a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 2:42 a.m. a 911 caller requested an officer for a disturbance at a Second Street location. (Officers located the individuals and made contact ending the disturbance.)
NOVEMBER 27, SUNDAY:
- At 1:31 a.m. an officer was flagged down by a pedestrian requesting assistance in securing her daughter’s house. It was thought that someone may be in the house. Nothing unusual was found.
- At 9:18 p.m. a subpoena was served.
- At 9:33 p.m. a subpoena was served.
NOVEMBER 28, MONDAY:
- At 12:15 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 3:38 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local business.
- At 3:45 a.m. an officer conducted a security check on Council Street.
- At 3:55 a.m. an officer conducted a security check on Water Street.
- At 6:30 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local business.
- At 10:22 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local business.
- At 10:46 p.m. an officer spoke to an individual regarding a theft.

- At 1:14 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 8:05 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local business.
- At 10:14 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local business.
NOVEMBER 30, WEDNESDAY:
- At 12:22 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 11:36 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at the13-mile airport.
DECEMBER 1, THURSDAY:

DECEMBER 2, FRIDAY:
- At 8:34 a.m. a caller reported a sea otter on the side of the road, out of the water, on Orca Road. The state troopers were notified.
DECEMBER 3, SATURDAY:
- At 12:18 a.m. an officer responded to assist with a medical call.
- At 1:59 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 10:37 p.m. an officer arrested Christian Johnson, age 48, for Violation of Conditions of Release.
DECEMBER 4, SUNDAY:
- At 3:32 a.m. an officer conducted a security check at the 13-mile airport.
- At 11:12 p.m. an officer conducted a security check at a local business.
DMV HOURS: Tuesday – Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise posted. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave. Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations, citations.
