This year’s Cordova Cleanup was successful because of many Cordova citizens! The CHS Student Council wants to thank everyone that turned up on Saturday to celebrate Earth Day by helping to pick up trash around town. We had over 35 families working together to gather over 100 bags of trash. We’d also like to show our appreciation for the Native Village of Eyak who generously donated gift certificates for door prizes.
We will be beginning quarterly clean up days and the upcoming dates will be July 22 and October 21, so look for flyers around then. We hope to see you out there and look for us next year for Cordova Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 27, 2024!
