About Us

Established in 1914, The Cordova Times is proudly Prince William Sound’s oldest newspaper. Tribally owned since April 2016, the Native Village of Eyak is pleased to announce our new look, top-of-the-line website and impressive expanded distribution. Although published in the small, coastal fishing community of Cordova, Alaska, our news spans thousands of miles reaching every village across the state. Our readers enjoy a perfect balance of state-wide and local news, covering politics to keep you up-to-date on what effects each and every Alaskan, in-depth fisheries reports, arts and festivals, and small-town features that speak to the heart.
