Crab industry entities will meet with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game in Anchorage on Oct. 12 to review the total allowable catch for the 2016-17 fisheries for the species they target.
ADF&G officials will review with them the TAC for Bristol Bay red king crab, Eastern Bering Sea Tanner crab, Bering Sea snow crab, Pribilof Islands king crab and Saint Matthew king crab.
The session will be held at the North Pacific Fishery Management Council conference room in the old federal building, at 605 West 4th Avenue, Suite 205, at 9 a.m.
Participants can also join the meeting via teleconference at the Nordby Conference Center at Fishermen’s Terminal in Seattle, the ADF&G office in Kodiak, and Unalaska City Hall.
