Stakeholder comment sought on crab fisheries

Draft reports for reassessment and initial assessment of several Alaska commercial crab fisheries under the Alaska Responsible Fisheries Management Certification program are now available for registered stakeholder comment through Dec. 16.

Fisheries up for reassessment include the Bristol Bay red king crab, St. Matthew Island blue king crab and Eastern Bering Sea snow crab.

Fisheries up for initial assessment include the Eastern Bering Sea tanner crab and Aleutian Islands golden king crab.

Stakeholders already registered will receive a copy via email from the certification body, Global Trust Certification Ltd.
