Koniag Government Service has new CEO

Koniag Government Services, in Chantilly, VA., announced on Aug. 20 the appointment of contracting veteran Kevin Wideman as its new chief executive officer.

Prior to joining KGS, Wideman served as president of Federal/Civilian Mission IT Solutions, for Arctic Slope Regional Corporation Federal, directing operations and business development for the largest division within their information services and technology operating group. Wideman also led the transformation of Vistronix, LLC as chief operating officer, through its graduation from the 8(a) small business programs, to a competitive business with nearly $100 million in annual revenue. Wideman is expected to play a critical role in KGS’s next phase of strategic growth with regard to management consulting for federal, state and local governments.
