Applications are being accepted through Oct. 29 for 2019 community-based removal grants through the NOAA Marine Debris Program, with typical awards of from $50,000 to $150,000 for projects ranging from one to three years in duration.
While these grants are similar year to year, there are also differences. Priority will be given to those targeting derelict fishing gear and other medium and large-scale debris
