Sailings of the M/V Aurora from Cordova to Whitter and back on Dec. 31 were cancelled by the Alaska Marine Highway System due to mechanical issues, but all repairs are anticipated to be completed today.
Due to weather, the AMHS’s ferry plans to bypass Tatitlek on New Year’s Day.
The ferry will leave Cordova Jan. 1 at 5 a.m. with a scheduled arrival in Valdez at 10 a.m., then depart Valdez at 10:45 a.m. and arrive in Cordova at 4:45 p.m.
The revised schedule is available at www.FerryAlaska.com. Affected passengers were being notified.
