Law & Order: Dec. 29-Jan. 4

The following incidents were reported to the Cordova Police Department between 12-29-18 thru 1-4-19. Any charges reported in these press releases are merely accusations and the defendant and/or defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

DECEMBER 29, Saturday:

Nothing to report.

DECEMBER 30, Sunday:

Nothing to report.

DECEMBER 31, Monday:

1:02 p.m. Caller reported an MVA on second street. Officer responded investigating the situation.

JANUARY 1, Tuesday:

Nothing to report.

JANUARY 2, Wednesday:

Caller reported finding a wallet left behind at a store. The wallet was taken to Dispatch and returned to the owner.

JANUARY 3, Thursday:

7:45 a.m. Caller reported a vehicle driving unsafe on first street. Officer responded unable to locate the vehicle.

JANUARY 4, Friday:

Nothing to report.

NOTES FROM CORDOVA DMV:

DMV HOURS: From 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday unless otherwise posted. Motorcycle testing is still available, weather permitting. DMV has moved to 602 Railroad Ave.  Payments now accepted for dog licenses, ATV/snow machine registrations and citations.
